"I wish you every success, because you don't need luck." Clive Howells

He speaks truly. ;-)

So, where am I in the great and beautiful adventure that is my life?

  • Saw Mike Cunningham last night and discovered that my dissertation is only 15,000 words, not 20,000 words, as I'd thought. Therefore I'll count the difference to be the 5,000 words that I didn't write this week.

  • We've discussed my project and dissertation, and what I've already written seems likely to be the project now. As I've already done 4,000 words, then I only have to do another 1,000 in order for that to be completed. If I get it in before the end of May, I can get onto the July Board and hopefully pass it then.

  • I've got an extra year to do my dissertation, so I should stop fretting about it now.

  • Work (the paid variety now): I've nearly worked back the deficit hours, after doing nearly 8 hours worth today. According to the massed genius brains of Space Cadets, I've got another quarter of an hour to work over, then I'm back in the black.

  • I've managed to condense a month's work of my basic job into this week; which means that most of my job is currently completely up-to-date and gives the GSO a bit of breathing space, once I walk out on Friday.

  • I'VE GOT A CERTIFICATE! My ECDL certificate turned up today, so there's another qualification to my name. *happy dance* And moreover, it's a computer qualification, which is always good on your CV.

  • Paganism: Singe announced at the Moot last night about the 101 courses which he, Karen and I will be holding for the Pagan Midlanders. Also in the Wolverhampton Moot news - the group picked four trustees to look after the considerable amount of money which has now been collected... and I'm one of them. *preens*

  • Health: "The potential for mental and physical collapse seems very near..." 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas'. Hunter speaks for us all.
